The mVisum STEMI Alert System is a medical communication tool that allows transmission of EKG’s directly to cardiologist’s BlackBerry® smartphone. Use of the mVisum System can significantly reduce the time it takes to assess and treat a heart attack patient. Door-To-Balloon times can be reduced by immediately assessing and acting on the EKG data. EKG's can be sent from an ambulance or Emergency Department (ED) to the cardiologist's BlackBerry smartphone.
